New Hampshire RV Rentals

New Hampshire RV Rentals booked through GetRV.com is a really exciting way to check out the North east. On June 21, 1788, New Hampshire became the 9th state to join the union. The State House in Concord, built in 1819 is the oldest State capitol in which the legislative branches meet in their original chambers. The famous Concord Stage Coaches that were instrumental in helping carry settlers out West, were built in Concord and the Museum of Natural History have some on display. The granite quarries on Rattlesnake Hill produced granite for the Library of Congress in Washington, DC and are still a working quarry today. The Pierce Mansion, home of the 14th President of the US, Franklin Pierce, is open to the public. Heading out of Concord in a maneuverable Class “C” RV a few miles northwest, is the Canterbury Shaker Village, settled in the 1790's in a beautiful, peaceful setting, by a band of people looking for religious freedom. It would be very easy to spend a day touring the village and learning of the inventions and heritage that the Shakers left for all of us to enjoy. Traveling in another direction there is the Indian Museum in Warner where many artifacts and crafts are displayed. A knowledgeable tour guide will walk you through many years of history. The Loudon Racetrack hosts some famous events with Nascar races and the annual Championship Motorcycle Races bringing thousands of people to enjoy these events. In Hillsboro and Pittsfield the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival where you can take a trip in a balloon, draws many talented artisans displaying and selling their crafts. In the late spring, early summer, at the Amoskeag Fishways you can watch migrating river herring, and American shad make their way up the 54 steps of the fish ladder to avoid the Amoskeag Dam. Lake Winnipasaukee, the largest lake in NH is enjoyed all year with boating in the summer and ice fishing enthusiasts in their fishing shanties during the winter months. A drive through the White Mountains possibly in a beautiful Class “A” RV gives you the opportunity to enjoy so much of the natural beauty of the lakes and mountains of this small state. If you want to have the experience of driving through a colorful painting then you certainly should plan this trip during the months of September and October. Year round however, you have to keep on the lookout for Moose, Bear, and Deer that are known to wander the area. The end of summer and into the fall months the annual country fairs are in full swing with farmers competing for the blue ribbon for raising the best and largest vegetables, the healthiest cattle, and the first prize for being able to pull the heaviest load the farthest, either in the tractor pull or with a team of oxen. RV Parks scattered throughout New Hampshire are full of foliage and splendor. When it is time to stop and eat, while traveling throughout the state, you have many choices from hearty home cooked comfort food like a NE Boiled dinner to the all time favorite seafood. What a pleasure to be seated at a table that looks out over the ocean and enjoy a steamed lobster with melted butter or a heap of fried clams. From the ocean to the mountains, all in one state there are many interesting and beautiful sights to see. An RV Rental is the perfect way to explore it all. Let GetRV.com help you find the best one to fit your needs.
